In previous tutorial I told you about WordPress, as we know for create dynamic site we have to purchase domain and hosting then add domain in cPanel data base, In the cPanel we can manage our site files, and different application. After buying domain and hosting you have to add domain in control panel and then we will install WordPress platform for our website so it’s very easy that How to add domain name in cPanel just follow some steps.
Step 1: Open your cPanel account which you get from website from where you buy domain and hosting.
In domain section you will those features
- Site publisher
- Add-on domains
- Simple zone editor
- Advance zone editor
- Domains F.A.Q
You have to go in Add-on domains for add a domain in cPanel.
Step 2: Next, you will need to fill out the details of the add-on domain:
|New Domain Name:||Enter the domain name you are adding to your cPanel.|
|Subdomain / Ftp Username:||When adding a new domain to your account, cPanel automatically configures an additional FTP user for this domain. While most users doesn’t need or use this account, cPanel requires that you enter an ftp username to continue.|
|Document Root:||The document root is the directory where the files for this website will be located. The default directory for new domains is public_html/NewDomain|
|Password||The password you enter here is the FTP password for the FTP user mentioned above. As previously stated, most users don’t use this new FTP account, but cPanel requires that you enter a password here.|
|Password (Again):||Enter the above password again to ensure you are typing it correctly.|
Step 3: One you are finished filling the details about your domain, Click on the “Add domain” button.
